    Deaf Advocacy
    A service for Deaf people over the age of 16 who use British Sign Language and / or have communication needs. The service helps people who have issues related to their health and social care needs. Deaf advocacy can help with: Letter writing; Making phone calls; Finding information to make choices; Knowing your rights; Going to meetings; Finding services. The service is provided by a fully qualified Deaf Advocate whose first language is British Sign Language.

    Deaf-Led Services
    Living Options Devon provides a number of services for Deaf people whose first or preferred language is British Language (BSL). Services are provided by people who are Deaf themselves and who use BSL.These include: Deaf Advocacy, Enabling, Information and Signposting, Consultation and Volunteering Opportunities.

    In Cornwall SSC has a number of members who offer specific help for the Deaf with BSL to help you cope and recover from the effects of crime these include; CASS, White Gold, Victim Support, BF Adventure and Konnect Cornwall. You can identify them by the Safer Stronger Logo. To be referred to them please contact the SSC Coordinator.
