We recognise that sexual abuse or violence can be very difficult to talk about or ask for help with. CLEAR therapists have undertaken specialist training to work with children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse or violence, current or historical. We offer individual therapy with additional support for the non-abusing carer where appropriate. Our approach is to find a therapy approach that suits and meets the needs of the young person so that they feel safe and secure. -

We offer counselling to anyone who has suffered from sexual abuse or sexual violence. It doesnt matter if the abuse happened a long time ago or is recent, we will support you. Operation Emotion provides support for men who have suffered historical sexual abuse. We provide initial one to one support and operate a weekly support group for men in the travel to work area of Plymouth. We also offer education courses, which tackle the consequences of sexual abuse. We are determined to help men to live a more positive life that is not dominated by their past experiences. -

The Zone
Have you been a victim of sexual violence?
As part of our sexual health service we offer free and confidential support to young people. Our drop in is open Monday to Friday between 12pm - 5pm (7pm on Tuesdays) and Saturday between 10.30am - 4pm. The service is delivered by our trained staff in partnership with nurses and doctors from Plymouth Community Healthcare. We offer emergency contraception and access to counselling and on going emotional support. We can also refer to other specialist services if required. -
