  1. Our trained advisors offer a free, confidential benefit check to anyone over pension age. It only takes a few minutes and we can let you know how to claim any entitlements identified and can offer practical support with difficult disability benefit forms. We help older people claim around £1.5 million each year, improving wellbeing and quality of life, and supporting the local economy. Call us for a friendly chat to see how we could help.

  2. Our Home Support Service helps with those household tasks which can become a challenge as we get older. Home Support Assistants can help with cleaning, laundry, food preparation, attending appointments, and more. If you, or someone you know, would benefit from our service, contact us to discuss your needs. This is a chargeable service and is available in selected areas of Devon.

  3. We have set up or promote many popular social activities including: Computer sessions in Honiton, Kingsbridge and Totnes; Just for men social group in Newton Abbot; Social sessions and 'Body Moves' a gentle exercise class in Seaton; Social sessions and a lunch club in Chudleigh Knighton; Tai Chi in Sidmouth; Walking Basketball in Teignbridge; Walking Football in Exeter and East Devon

  4. Our I&A service can advise on matters affecting later life. We know that benefits and social care, in particular, can be very complicated and confusing. We can also provide details of services and social activities in your area. We aim to answer your questions and explain procedures in a friendly and straightforward way. We can talk through your concerns and provide clear information literature. At Age UK Devon we will not share your information with anyone else, without your permission.
