Plymouth Hope is a charitable organisation run by inspiring and dedicated volunteers from all walk of lives who all believe in social equality. We recognise the social and health benefits of sport & play and we work hard to make sure that children and young people in the UK and around the world have access to play the beautiful game. We thrive for a just and inclusive society in the UK and for peace and development in the most troubled and poorest countries around the world.

Our objectives are:
To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities and coaching for the playing of football.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society. For the purpose of this clause "socially excluded" means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of one or more of the following factors: Unemployment; financial hardship; youth or old age; ill health (physical or mental); substance abuse or dependency including alcohol and drugs; discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender re-assignment; poor educational or skills attainment; relationship and family breakdown; poor housing (that is housing that does not meet basic habitable standards; crime (either as a victim of crime or as an offender rehabilitating into society).
The promotion of racial harmony for the public benefit by:

Promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between different racial and ethnic groups;

Advancing education and raising awareness about different racial groups to promote good relations between persons of different racial and ethnic groups;

Working towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race.

Our International work :
The relief of poverty, advancement of education and the relief of sickness and preservation of health, primarily but not exclusively in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, by the provision of grants, items and services to individuals in need and not for profit groups, or other organisations working to further such charitable purposes.'

Our Beneficiaries:
We work with primarily but not exclusively asylum seekers, refugees, groups from ethnic minority groups.
We have specific project focusing on the wellbeing, development and integration of young people.
